Taking place in Leimert Park, a central hub for Black people across the diaspora, this project centralizes the theme of Black girl joy and beauty in the summertime. "An Ode to LA summer", photographed by Dee Williams, was handpicked by Tina Knowles and displayed in WACO Theatre from April 1-May 27, 2023. The photo series was also highlighted on KTLA 5 on May 24, 2023.
